Parry returns, after a few minutes, with a tray.
The contents of the tray include soup, and bread, and water to drink.
At least it's a good soup. |

It's been days, now.
Days since he came back, days since Alex finally fell asleep from exhaustion and some mix of shock and relief.
Days.
And Alex... hasn't really woken up, yet. Oh, he's gotten up a few times, from necessity if anything else, and he'd managed to get him to at least drink some more water, but... he hasn't said anything, or really seemed to see anything, and has quickly fallen asleep again.
He thinks that, for a while at least, Alex was dreaming, and they were not good dreams. He'd done his best to comfort him, and after awhile he'd grown quiet again, his sleep calming.
But it's been days, now.
And he's starting to worry, a little, as he wonders when it will be that Alex will wake and be himself again. |

[ upstairs ]
He hasn't let go of Alex since Moiraine finished.
And now they're downstairs, and he still hasn't let go.
Except that as soon as the door shuts behind them, he breaks away and makes a beeline for the bathroom, muttering something about washing off the blood and how he'll be fine when Alex starts to follow him.
He has no sense of time anymore, and so he does not know if it is five minutes later or three hours later or any point in between that Alex opens the bathroom door and comes inside.
It's been long enough that the water's gone cold, as he sits in the corner of the shower, fingertips stroking lightly over the small feather in his hand that's still stained crimson, and won't be washed clean.
He only vaguely notices Alex's entrance, at that, and doesn't look up. |

| OOO: Tortall, Day 3 |
[May. 25th, 2005|03:44 am] |
Alex was gone for most of the day yesterday, in meetings with king and country and its various advisors. He spent some of the day curled up in Alex's bed, because that was the closest he has been to him since yesterday. He managed somehow not to be bored out of his mind, although it was mostly because he managed to figure out a few bits of business from Earth for himself. Two women, he knows, and one he knows very well how to find. So he's pleased, at least a little, sitting almost curled-up in one of the more comfortable chairs in the sitting room, watching a fire in the fireplace that's only burning in his own mind, as servants or pages bring in a dinner for him. He wishes Alex were coming to join him. No doubt, soon enough, someone will remember to give him an official invitation to dinner with the rest of the Court. He is not entirely sure he is looking forward to the occasion. |

[ downstairs, last night ]
He's been awake for a while, if silent, hand combing absently through Alex's hair.
His arm is no longer pink. |

[ downstairs ]
It's a headboard behind him, instead of the booth, but his hands are still pinned to the wall with Alex's help. |

[May. 5th, 2005|03:56 am] |
Parry's asleep, for once, still curled around Alex.
At some point, in the night, they've shifted so that it's Parry's head on Alex's shoulder, instead of the other way 'round. |

Rating: Um. It's gotten naughty. R? At least. Warnings for piano, French, boysmut, not!wings, and handcuffs. So far. Wordcount: Just about 3350. In less than a day and a half. Oh lordy me.
( It's been a long time since he's played, really. ) |

[ downstairs ]
And it's probably cheating, really, as he pushes Alex back down on the bed when he was still expecting booth behind him, and he doesn't really seem to care, as he goes back to kissing a trail of heat down his neck and chest.
And wouldn't you know it, there's a bit of chocolate still along the line between his ribs. |

[ downstairs ]
The change from couch to bed, gentle though it may be, is nonetheless unexpected. But he distracts Alex with a kiss, as green eyes go wide in startlement, grey eyes asking - almost pleading, perhaps - for trust.
Trust me. I love you.
A shaky nod, and he gives Alex no time for any other response, warmer-than-most hands roving freely over bare skin under an untucked shirt as he pulls Alex on top of him, mouth hot on Alex's neck; and he pushes the shirt out of the way, pulling back only enough to remove it. Hands and lips trace over stomach and chest before the shirt is even dropped to the floor beside the bed. Alex, mon chevalier, j'suis ton ange et je t'aime - A quiet sound, something between a gasp, a moan, a whimper, a prayer. A hand in dark hair, pulling him into a kiss, as fingertips trace lightly in small circles at the small of Alex's back again. He pulls Alex closer, hips rocking sharply against hips, leaving his interest - his desire for the dark-haired knight - unmistakeable. |

[Apr. 7th, 2005|07:49 pm] |
At some point, he's sitting in Their Booth, for all that he's not sure they count as a They anymore.
He's barefoot, again, and that's something at least, as he sits there, back pressed against the wall, knees pulled up to his chest, arms wrapped around his legs, hands not quite peeking out from the sleeves of his sweater.
He stays there, tucked into the corner of the booth, and he waits, perhaps for Alex. |
